Astronomy takes practice

This is what I’m doing this month to practice astronomy and develop my night sky skills. It only takes a few minutes, and with my binoculars, I can see quite a bit. I have my “Observing” section from this month’s Sky&Telescope magazine, the free “SkyEye” app on my Smartphone, and my Edmund Scientific “Star and Planet Locator”. Inexpensive, easy, and fun! http://hubblesite.org/explore_astronomy/tonights_sky/
